Our Drop-off & Pick-up Guidelines

Drop-off and pick-up are always an exciting time for everyone!  Our regular school day begins at 9 AM and ends at 12 PM, with J/K and Lunch & Learn ending at 2 PM.  We provide a few ways to do drop-off for families in the mornings, walk-in, Toddlers, & carpool. All families (except for Toddler families) will utilize our carpool line for afternoon pick-up, during their designated pick-up time, 12 PM or 2 PM.  No matter how you choose to drop-off your child, teachers will always be there to greet your child and/or escort them in and out of your vehicle at the beginning and end of each day.  Regardless of the method, your child's safety and a positive transition are our priorities during these times of the day.

Further drop-off and pick-up details and guidelines are below.

Morning Drop-off & Carpool

Are you a Toddler parent or would prefer to walk your child into the school building and to their classroom door?

Enter the campus at the main entrance with the stop light. Toddler families, please pull into the spaces beside the Portico, noted in the diagram above. Otherwise, pull into the parking lot up the hill, on the left, and use the red ramp entrance near the back of the church, next to the courtyard. The stairs to the left will take you down to the main floor of the preschool and 2s and 3s classrooms. Take the stairs to the left up, to the 4s & J/K classrooms.

Is the carpool line beginning to jut out onto River Rd.?

We do our best to get our students unloaded from your car in a timely and safe manner, however sometimes (usually before carpool starts) the line of cars can get pretty long. Please make sure when pulling into the carpool entrance/line, you are extending the line into the parking lot on the right and around that median (as noted in the diagram above). This will ensure the safety of motorists on River Rd. and our families waiting their turn to begin their day.

How far should you pull up when it's your turn to drop-off in the carpool line?

When it's your turn to drop-off in the carpool line, please pull up as far as you can in front of the portico (there is a slight curb that juts out you can use as a guide). By doing so, it will allow teachers and staff to unload 2 to 3 students at a time and in turn speed up the carpool process.

When it's your turn to pick-up your child in the carpool line, please pull up as far as you can in front of the portico (there is a slight curb that juts out you can use as a guide). By doing so, it will allow teachers and staff to get 2 to 3 students into cars at a time and in turn speed up the carpool process.

Where should you safely buckle your child into their car set?

After your child has been loaded into your car safely, we ask that you move to one of the buckle areas (noted with bright green in the diagram above) so that we can continue loading all of our students into their vehicles. The buckle areas are all parking spots located extremely close to our carpool line. Once buckled in, make your way through the parking lot (please no U-turns) and out the main entrance with the stop light.
